Jolly’s Pharmacy Subsidiary Jolly’s Manufacturing launches wide range of new spectacular brand products

Jolly’s Pharmacy Subsidiary Jolly’s Manufacturing launches wide range of new brand products manufactured by the company in Dominica, including Bay-off insect repellant, cream and spray, the Babylis male and female adult deodorant, Babylis cream, MB ointment & bathing soaps. Management says “The products we manufacture in Dominica are not the typical products you will find elsewhere, but they are of excellent quality.” They can be purchased at both Jolly’s Pharmacies in the City of Roseau, and at the Buy Dominica Supercenter.
 
The products were officially launched in Roseau on Wednesday May 18, 2016, and add to other products already produced by Jolly’s, such as Babylis nursery jelly, Peridavite tonic, Basalicon ointment, Children’s Chest Rub, Sulphur ointment and the Black Disinfectant Jays. Supervising manager of Jolly’s Manufacturing, Lou-Ann Jno-Baptiste said the idea to branch into manufacturing came from their desire to create products with few or no chemicals.
 
She advised that the “Products are all natural and most importantly, safe for our bodies. There is ongoing research on the link between aluminum, compounds found in antiperspirants and deodorants and breast cancer. As a result, the formulation of our deodorant does not contain any aluminum compounds”. Ms. Jno-Baptiste assured customers that Jolly’s manufactured products are certified, and of the highest standard.
 
She added “Our raw materials are imported from certified manufacturing companies within the USA and the U.K. We are also working closely with the Dominica Bureau of Standards, and will continue to do so, to ensure that our products are of good quality and safe for human consumption”. She said Jolly’s will continue to lead the way through sustainable manufacturing.
 
General Manager, Dr Orrin Jolly informed that Jolly’s Pharmacy started thirty (30) years ago by his father Anderson Jolly, in the basement of their home. Dr Jolly said “Over the years, Jolly’s Manufacturing took different shapes and sizes. Many products have come and gone, but many have stood the test of time. Jolly’s Manufacturing has become a much bigger company with dedicated staff, and with the aim of bringing first world products to Dominica with a different style.
