LaPlaine Disaster Preparedness Committee Chairman Jason Fontaine puts out a call for stopping bribery & obstruction of justice in Dominica. Fontaine says anyone who interferes with an ongoing case involving Dominica’s Education Minister and three villagers of LaPlaine, will be held legally accountable.
Fontaine alleges that recently, one of the men who was allegedly beaten by Dominica’s Education Minister and his son, recently received an amount of EC $3000.00 from a third party. Fontaine alleges that the payment might constitute so-called “Hush Money”.
The Education Minister recently came under scrutiny by some villagers and the opposition, for reports indicating that he beat three men from the LaPlaine constituency, for allegedly stealing provisions in his garden.
