Lawsuit filed by Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit against Dr Thomson Fontaine thrown out of court today. In 2011 Senator Thompson Fontaine seemed to have landed in hot water when he was presented with a lawsuit by PM Skerrit, for articles written about the sale of passports in Dominica, which allegedly said that passports were being sold to criminals and the like.
Despite the case being thrown out and resubmitted, Fontaine states that over the years, more evidence has surfaced which strengthened his case.
He says Prime Minister Skerrit made a severe error in judgement by taking him to court, because his evidence is factual.
