Passengers of Regional Airline, LIAT, are stranded at the Douglas Charles Airport today, as reports indicate that the airline has failed to land for it scheduled early morning flight. Many are concerned about their connecting flights onward and still no word from Airline officials as to what is going on. Reporter Carlisle Jno Baptiste, has more details. Dominica became the fourth major shareholder of LIAT in 2012, injecting some $8 million into the regional air carrier.
However, many share the view that the island has not reaped any significant benefit from that arrangement.
