Lifeline Ministries Executive Director calls for sweeping reforms to child protection laws and procedures
Executive Director of Lifeline Ministries Tina Alexander is issuing a call for across the board reform of legislation in child protection procedures in Dominica.
Lifeline Ministries is a local non-governmental organization advocating for the rights of children on island.
Alexander says among reforms needed are the amendment to the sexual offences act and a family court.
Alexander says Lifeline Ministries will be holding "Advocates Day" on Wednesday July 6, from 2 – 8 pm, at the Public service Union building on Valley Road.
