Opposition Leader, Lennox Linton, says the DLP Administration has continued to play politics with the people of Marigot.
Linton made particular mention of the Marigot Hospital which was shut down in 2014 due to severe termite infestation.
While the Government has indicated that it will construct a new hospital in Marigot, no significant effort has been made in this regard.
Linton believes the reason for this is political. He says it is time to end this vindictive short sighted treatment of Dominican people.
The Marigot hospital serves persons on the North East of the island. It is also critical given its proximity to the island's main airport.
