A decision is expected to be made by a Roseau Magistrate on Friday, in the matter involving Frances Williams-Robin and Lennox Robin, who were reportedly arrested during a funeral at the Roseau Roman Catholic Cemetery on June 21, 2016.
The two were charged with one count of battery on Carlene Jean Marie when they appeared before a Roseau Magistrate on June 22, 2016.
The couple were here for the funeral and burial of Frances' mother, when they were arrested by the police, who reportedly arrived at the cemetery armed with a warrant.
It is alleged that Frances Robin poked Jean Marie, who was her mother's caretaker.
Court Reporter Carlisle Jno Baptiste says the matter is expected to conclude today.
