Mahaut Village Council receives $521,000 to fund grassroots constituency projects and road rehabilitation works
On Friday, the Mahaut Village Council received $521,000 to fund a number of grassroots constituency projects.
Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit, on his facebook page said approximately $185,000 will finance grass-root projects including materials to build a fishing boat, boat engines for fishing boats, tools for auto-mechanics, a green house, equipment for airbrushing, equipment for a cable technician and housing assistance.
The balance of the funds is expected to go towards road rehabilitation works in Mahaut, Jimmit, Formage, Massacre and continuation of the Warner link road.
