Man questioned by police re alleged inappropriate behavior involving a minor was granted $15,000 station bail late Friday
A man who was being questioned by the police in relations to alleged inappropriate behavior involving a minor, has been granted station bail in the sum of $15,000. Unconfirmed reports indicate that he has been charged with indecent assault.
He was picked up on Thursday and was questioned well into the night and also on Friday. He reportedly spent the night in police custody.
He was granted bail on Friday afternoon, and is expected to appear in court today Monday 7th March 2016.
The issue is said to be part of investigations into allegations of three men involved in inappropriate behavior.
One other man has already been charged, and appeared in court on the morning of Friday 4th March 2016. He has been released on $75,000 bail.
Reports are that another man is still being sought by the police.
Due to the nature of the offense, the laws of Dominica prohibit the publication of names until there is a verdict in a court of law.
