Mayor of Roseau Irene John asks vendors to get their papers in order before Carnival

​Mayor of Roseau Irene John says vendors who will be selling on the roadside Carnival Monday and Tuesday, must apply for a permit to sell food to patrons.
She says a liquor license must also be obtained in order to sell alcohol to revelers.

Meanwhile, John has issued a warning to vendors to refrain from using Styrofoam and single plastic containers for food distribution. She is advising all food vendors to use biodegradable supplies when serving food to citizens at various events during the carnival season.
 
Mayor, Irene John, was speaking at the weekly press briefing of Mas Dominik, hosted by the Dominica Festivals Committee (DFC).
