National Security Minister, Rayburn Blackmoore, has issued a stern warning to police officers here that two new applications launched this week should not be used to invade people's privacy.
The Drivers Automobile Information system (DAIS) gives police officers access to a database where information on drivers’ and vehicle information are stored while the Dominica-FSU e-filing system (DEFS) allows authorized users to submit reports on a person or company engaged in suspicious activity or activities. Blackmoore says it is his hope that the officers using the system have been through a proper orientation and a proper protocol established for the usage of the system.
