The recent murder of 51-year old Brazilian Rose Wyatt which rocked the villages of Calibishie through Woodfordhill earlier this week, has been condemned by many, including the North East Tourist Environment Development Committee (NETEDC).
PRO of NETEDC Gabriel Leblanc expressed the organizations sympathies to those whose lives were touched by Ms Wyatt. He says tourism has been affected by MS Wyatt’s death, and calls for the villages to be strong and to help Dominica retain its reputation as the land of friendly people.
Wyatt, the owner of Sunrise Gardens, was found dead about two kilometres from the village of Calibishie on Sunday, January 17, 2016
