Opposition Leader & Leader of the UWP Lennox Linton contends that obstructions placed in the way of electoral reforms by the DLP Administration, is an act of oppression against the people of Dominica
Leader of the United Worked Party, Lennox Linton says the impression being perceived from the response given by the Skerrit-led DLP Administration to the report and recommendations of the joint Commonwealth Secretariat, CARICOM and OAS Committee, whom they invited to produce such a report, is that they invited organizations that lack knowledge to give advice on the issue of electoral reforms, which are now needed and widely demanded by the electorate in Dominica.
Linton contends the continued obstruction being placed in the way of electoral reforms by the DLP Administration, among other things, is an act of oppression against the people of Dominica.
Linton says, if Dominicans as a civilized and upstanding people must stand against such oppression by their government.
