Opposition Leader Lennox Linton proposes an online voting system for eligible Dominican voters’ resident overseas

Opposition Leader, Lennox Linton has clarified his party's position on the matter of voting by eligible Dominicans resident overseas. Many have accused the United Workers Party of not being in favour of Dominicans residing overseas coming home to vote during the election season.
 
However, Linton says the UWP has no problem with Dominicans residing overseas who are eligible to participate in the election process doing so.
 
He is suggesting that an online voting system be introduced to enable a voting process for those overseas eligible voters to vote overseas, wherever they reside.

​Linton made those comments at a UWP special town hall meeting in Mahaut on Thursday night.
