Opposition Leader Lennox Linton says delays to deny justice continue uninterrupted in Dominica and calls on DLP lawyers to let the alleged treating matter against its party candidates be heard in the courts
Leader of the Opposition, Lennox Linton says the delays to deny justice continue uninterrupted in a country where the constitution provides that every person charged with a criminal offense shall be afforded a fair hearing within a reasonable time, by an independent and impartial court established by law.
He has asked that DLP lawyers let the alleged 2014 treating matter against DLP candidates be heard in the courts, and be determined in obedience to the constitution and the rule of law.His comments came during a UWP press briefing Tuesday morning.
