Opposition Leader Lennox Linton walked out on an interview with host of DBS Radio’s ‘Talking Point’, Kamala Jno-Baptiste Aaron, who is also the DLP Government’s Press Secretary; but not before accusing her of being a “rabid political animal.”
The opposition leader was invited to discuss the 2016/2017 national budget, but the interview quickly turned sour, when Jno-Baptiste persisted in asking asked him questions about politics, and further asking him to present evidence on his views that poverty is climbing, while the working class is being devastated in Dominica.
After a few minutes of back and forth, Jno-Baptiste eventually accused Linton of spreading propaganda. Linton decided he had enough, and walked out, but not before giving her a piece of his mind.
It appears that the Opposition Leader received an invitation from the manager of DBS radio, to speak on the 2016/2017 National Budget.
However, Kamala Jno Baptiste who hosted the show, seemed to have completely strayed away from the purpose of the interview, and appeared to have been more interested in trying to frustrate the opposition leader into a political argument.
