Persons in areas prone to flooding, landslides and falling rocks are being advised to be vigilant and to exercise caution as weak instability and lingering moisture will maintain cloudiness and scattered showers across parts of the island chain during the next 24 hours.
According to the Dominica Meteorological Service, this wet pattern is expected to continue until Thursday. A relatively drier atmosphere can be expected by late Thursday into Friday. Meanwhile moderate sea conditions are expected during the next 24 hours with waves now peaking 7.0 feet. On Saturday, a flash flood warning was issued for Dominica following moderate and isolated heavy showers across the island.
