Countries have been called upon to be mindful of the natural challenges that may affect economic growth. The Call came from the PS in the Ministry of Planning Gloria Joseph who spoke on behalf of Planning Minister Dr Colin McIntyre.
Joseph was speaking at a National Consultation on the Dialogue on the Eastern Caribbean Currency Union Growth Action Plan Thursday at the Fort Young Hotel. She says the devastating effects of Climate Change can have negative effects on a country's economic growth.
The panelists were Opposition Leader Lennox Linton, General Secretary of the DPSU Thomas Letang, DAIC President Kira Thompson-Aird, Lifeline Ministries Executive Director Tina Alexander, Dominica Christian Council Chairman Rev. Novell Josiah & National Youth Council Member Eardley Pierre.
