PM Skerrit calls on healthcare professionals’ in Dominica to improve their attitudes towards service
Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit has called on those employed in the healthcare services, to improve on their attitudes, now that Dominica has a New Hospital in the pipeline.
Contracts for the much talked about hospital were signed between the Hunan Construction Engineering Group Corporation, and the Ministry of Health, in December 2015.
PM Skerrit says healthcare professionals’ attitudes towards their work and to their patients, has to be addressed.
It has been said the attitudes of health care professionals at the Princess Margaret Hospital has been of some concern.
Meanwhile Mr Skerrit said Government is committed to improving the healthcare services in Dominica. He outlines some interventions being made in healthcare on island.
