Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit has sent a stern warning to persons who continue to dump garbage indiscriminately. Speaking at a signing for a 73-room hotel at Salisbury recently, Mr Skerrit says there is a need for persons to change their attitudes towards the environment. He says government will be taking a more serious approach towards litter management.
Meanwhile he says in January, government will meet with stakeholders to discuss the banning Styrofoam cups and plates, and non biodegradable plastic bags.
