Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit says the Government is not responsible for the delays being experienced in completing the Moroccan funded hotel in Portsmouth. According to Mr. Skerrit, there were some challenges on the part of the Moroccan Government. However, he says they have indicated that they have signed a contract with a new design firm and that is expected to be mobilized soon. Works commenced on the 50-room hotel in 2011 and was expected to be completed in 2013, but five years later the project remains incomplete. Meanwhile, he says very soon actual work will commence on the Cabrits Resort Kempinski Project.
