Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit says he hopes the contractor for the Windsor Park Stadium roof repairs project will demonstrate diligence.
The Government has in the past expressed its concern over the diligence of contractors here and their ability to complete projects in the time allotted to them.
He says projects here experience too many delays because of the laid-back attitude of contractors.
Mr. Skerrit says with the upcoming hurricane season he hopes the repairs to the stadium roof can be done in the stipulated time.
The Government on Thursday signed a contract with Fortify Construction to the tune of XCD$404,000 to commence repair works to the roof of the Windsor Park Sports Stadium.
