PRO of the DNCW says women are still faced with discrimination and even denial of the right to live a life free of violence
In a statement on International Women's Day, PRO of the National Council of Women, Josephine Dublin Prince states that while women such as Baroness Patricia Scotland, Dr. Carissa Etienne, and others have made remarkable strides of progress in Dominica and the Caribbean, women are still faced with discrimination and some are even denied the right to live a life free of violence.
Prince made the call for women to look out for each other and to build communities that are safe for women and children, to explore their creativity, and end relationships amicably without the fear of death.
