Prominent Businessman and Pharmacist, Anderson Jolly, will be laid to rest on Thursday December 1st 2016. Jolly, the owner of leading pharmacy, Jolly's Pharmacy, died on Thursday November 10th in the United States after a short period of illness. PRO of Jolly's Pharmacy, Carlton Lanquedoc, says the funeral service will take place in St. Joseph, the hometown of Mr. Jolly, with viewing to commence at 12.30pm.
Meanwhile, a public viewing will take place at the Lyndhurst Funeral home from 2:00 pm today.
Lanquedoc says the family has taken measures to ensure crowd control at Thursday's funeral. Among the measures, vehicles will not be allowed to enter the village of St. Joseph. He says shuttle service will be transporting persons from the four points on the St. Joseph highway to the St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church.
The Funeral Service will be carried live on Q95 FM Radio, KairiFm and DBS Radio, and a live feed will be available on Dominica News Online website. Mr. Jolly established Jolly’s Pharmacy Ltd in 1980. Over the years, it has become the leading provider of pharmaceutical and other household items in Dominica.
Jolly’s pharmacy has also given Dominica, the Caribbean and the international community, very important health information, through the now world famous radio show ‘Jolly’s Health Vibes’, hosted by Carlton Languedoc and Pearl Fontaine, which airs on Q95fm Radio every Wednesday from 10:15 am to 11:00 am.…
