Retired Police Officer David Michael says the poor interaction between Police and civilians needs to change
Retired Veteran Police officer David Michael believes that the culture of poor interaction between Police and civilians needs to change.
Recently the DPF has come under fire for a lack of presence in their communities, more specifically from the National Security Minister, who just last week expressed his dissatisfaction with leadership of the force.
Michael says that as the statutory lead law enforcement organization, the Dominica Police force should earn the trust of the community. He says new facilities and vehicles will not help in obtaining information in solving cases, but the trust of the public may accomplish that.
