Salisbury MP Hector John says the people of Salisbury are upset that law enforcement officials again tried to intimidate them, by serving them summons this week, to attend magistrates court in St Joseph on Thursday January 13. After consultation with the attorney who is representing the villagers of Salisbury in this matter, John highlighted that there is no need to honor this request as the matter involving the claimants and others arising out of incidents on 11th May 2015 and 11th June 2015 at Salisbury by consent was stayed until further notice by Justice Stephenson at the high court, it is astounding to now serve summons to the villagers, requesting them to attend a magistrates court (which is a lower Court) at St Joseph on January 13, 2022. John spoke to Q95 news earlier this week. For now, John says he has successfully calmed the residents of Salisbury who feel they have been provoked by political hacks within the Judicial system in Dominica. Salisbury MP, Hon. Hector John
