Salisbury MP, Hector John, says he hopes an ongoing court matter involving some residents of Salisbury will not be a long drawn out process.
Some 52 Salisbury residents were taken before the courts for protest action taken in May and June 2015 in that community.
Since then, stay has been granted in the matter when the residents, through their lawyer, filed a constitutional motion challenging the constitutionality of the Riot Act.
John, speaking with Q95 news this week, says he hopes this matter will come to an end quickly so farmers can get back to producing.
