Secretary Treasurer of the Waterfront & Allied Workers Union, Kertiste Augustus says WAWU’s top priority for 2021 is its Biennial Conference and general concerns for workplace safety

​Secretary Treasurer of the Waterfront and Allied Workers Union (WAWU), Kertiste Augustus, announces some of the goals of the Union’s executive in 2021.
 
Augustus told Q95 news on Thursday that top on the agenda is the Union’s Biennial Conference, and its General concerns of safety.

​Kertiste Augustus says the health of its members and their safety at their place of work is important to the union, taking into consideration the advent of Covid-19, its effects upon the economy and the need to practice proper health protocols at all work establishments.
