Sen. Isaac Baptiste calls for Commonwealth Secretary-General, Baroness Patricia Scotland to apologize for the international embarrassment of allegedly conferring false awards onto Dominicans of high office.
A President, Prime Minister and Bishop were each conferred grand honours, allegedly on the recommendation of the Baroness, but according to Baptiste, questions have been raised about these honours, and he wonders whether Dominica may be subject to mockery in the eyes of its international peers. Baptiste called on speaker of the house Mrs Alix Boyd-Knight, who celebrated the Baroness for becoming the first female to hold the post of Commonwealth Secretary General, to demand a public apology from the Baroness for such an embarrassment.
