One Corporal of Police is assisting police with investigations into a shooting incident which left one man dead in Grand bay on Sunday January 24th 2016. According to reports, Craig Thomas, of Highland Grand bay, was shot in his left upper thigh while attacking a police officer.
Thomas alleged trespassed on the private property of a Dominica Police Officer at Grand bay, and reportedly damaged a vehicle owned by the officer, who then came out of his house armed with a firearm, and was allegedly attacked by Thomas, who was armed with a knife.
