Executive Director of the Showdown Mas Camp, Darryl Bobb, has described the passing of popular calypsonian Michael 'Boople' Lafleur as 'bittersweet'. He says while they have not yet met as an organization, the general feeling of the members is one of hurt, but they are also comforted in the fact that he is no longer suffering. Boople died on Thursday morning after battling with a rare form of cancer. Bobb, who is also Secretary of the Dominica Calypso Association says while Boople will be missed his legacy will live on for a very long time.
