St Alphonsus Pre-school teachers and students march to raise awareness of the dangers of drugs1/19/2016 Meanwhile, parents, teachers and students of the St Alphonsus Pre-school, recently held a march to raise awareness of the dangers of drugs. The march commenced from the Pottersville Savannah and concluded at ‘Ma Boyd’s Bar’. The students displayed posters with text stating “To Smart, to start! Say no to drugs”, “Drugs kill people stay away from drugs!”, “Keep calm and don’t do drugs!” and “Keep drugs away!”
Acting principal Annie Nicholas said “They had fun during the march, the children were chanting, singing and dancing. It was a good experience for them.” According to her, this is an annual activity, and is always done in recognition of Drug Awareness Month which is observed in January
