Star cricketer Chris Gayle is reportedly facing new allegations, over an attempt to flirt with an Australian presenter on live TV. New allegations about his behaviour towards women have emerged.
This is as a result of more female journalists, publicizing complaints against the Cricketer, after he was fined US$7,000 recently for his approach to Network Ten reporter, Mel McLaughlin.
Gayle apologized and tried to brush off the exchange with McLaughlin as a harmless joke.
His team, the Melbourne Renegades, played down calls for sterner action, and said their star signing would play again in the Big Bash League on Saturday. But Fox Sports reporter Neroli Meadows branded the Jamaican as a “creep”.
It is alleged that many West Indians, are finding the allegations brought to the forefront by these female journalists, against Chris Gayle, as being racist. Q95 FM Radio will continue to follow this story as more information becomes available.
