Students, teachers, parents witness recent opening ceremony for new Grand Bay Primary school library2/10/2016 Students, teachers, parents and dignitaries were present to witness a recent ceremony, for the opening of a new library at the Grand Bay Primary school.
Officials offered speeches illustrating the importance of reading in students’ lives, and called for them to utilize the books well, in order to further their education. Parents were asked to support their children, by setting aside time for reading at home. Culture Minister Justina Charles showed government’s support through a donation of 7 tablets for use at the school. Private company Dragon Windows provided two new doors, Garraway Enterprises gave colourful shelf markers, while Harris Paints ltd gave five gallons of green paint.
