There has still been absolutely no mention of a medical budget to deal with this corona virus situation in Dominica. This is according to the leader of the United Workers Party & Marigot MP, Lennox Linton.
Mr. Linton has been questioning the economic strategy of the present DLP government, and says, he is not taking a strike at the government, but adequate financing is critical in dealing with such a global pandemic.

Meantime, President of the UWP Isaac Baptiste stated that there is going to be an economic impact on the country, and this is where the burden for correction has to rest upon the state. Looking at the current global economic standings, countries are putting in place financial measures that will ease the pressure on it citizens, and Baptiste feels Dominica should do just the same.
He said though the virus may questionably be of lower impact on the younger generations, they will be the ones with the highest probability of spreading it.
