Thirty begin training today for certification as Food Safety Managers under the ServSafe® Training and Certification Programme
Thirty (30) persons within the hotel, restaurant and regulatory sector, yesterday began training for certification as Food Safety Managers, under the ServSafe® Training and Certification Programme.
This is the first time this program is being held in Dominica and it will be conducted over a three-day period.
Meanwhile, Facilitator of the workshop, Ms. Julie-Ann Laudat, says this training is geared at improving safe food handling practices in Dominica, with the goal of minimizing food borne diseases.
