Tourism Minister says $25Million to AID Bank for Agriculture & Tourism fulfils a DLP Manifesto Promise
Tourism Minister Senator Robert Tonge states that the government’s initiative to release of $25 million to the AID Bank, for the purpose of onlending to Agriculture and Tourism, is a step that has met eight of the twenty promises made in the DLP manifesto.
Mr Tonge made those remarks at a signing Ceremony, to formalize the release of $25 million from proceeds of the Citizenship By Investment program, to AID Bank, to onlend to persons in the Agriculture and Tourism sector, as stated in the 2016-2017 National Budget.
The minister pointed out that in order to truly appreciate the progress made in the country; one must realize that the government is following a strategic plan, to ensure the country’s progress.
