Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Tourism & Urban Renewal Careen Prevost has announced that $150,000 will be spent to upgrade the restroom facilities at the Trafalgar Falls site.
Prevost said the ministry is also embarking on a project to ensure that the facilities at the tourist sites are friendly to ‘People with Disabilities’.
She stated that the initiative will be piloted at the Trafalgar site, and later implemented at other tourist sites across the island.
Prevost also revealed that some $60,000 is being spent on a signage project at the different sites.
