Trauma Surgeon Consultant, Dr. Samuel Christian, says although Martinique’s Health Sector is much more equipped and resourced than Dominica’s Health Sector, Dr. Samuel says there is still much more room for improvement in efficiency, collaboration and advanced care services in Dominica. He also laments the Skerrit administration’s failure in properly utilizing the tertiary medical facilities on island, the Former Ross University School of Medicine and the present, All Saints University. Dr. Christian warns that the current state of Dominica’s Health Care Services, ‘is not the best that the country can offer!’ Adding that the poor state of Services and collaboration within the sector, is as a result of poor management of the system, under the Roosevelt Skerrit Administration.
