The United Workers Party has sounded a call for all patriots to gather in Lagoon, Roseau tomorrow, Thursday June 1st, for another political rally.
UWP Leader Lennox Linton says it is important that they meet to discuss the way forward.
This meeting called by the Opposition, follows a decision of PM Skerrit to adjourn Parliament last week, without further consideration of matters on the Order Paper.
His decision was as a result of what he says is protest action which ensued, due to disagreements from some, to his DLP Government’s proposed amendments to the Election Act.
Linton said the Prime Minister will come back with these same Bills, and the patriots need to make it clear, that they will not rest until this piece of legislation is withdrawn permanently.
The meeting will commence at 7.30pm.
