UWP asks Dominicans to insist on institutional strengthening & reforms to assure free and fair voting
Meanwhile, UWP Public Relations Officer, Nicholas George, is of the view that it is a dishonour to Dominica’s ancestors who fought for freedom, if the right to vote is compromised without resistance. He says the DLP government has manipulated elections, and there is no honour in the actions of the leader of the current DLP.
George went on to say that Dominicans must come to understand the relationship between slavery, freedom, and the right to vote, and must insist on institutional strengthening and necessary reforms, in order to assure this sacred right to free and fair voting.
