UWP heads back to court next week to face defamation charges filed by PM Skerrit and his cabinet2/12/2016 Opposition Leader, Lennox Linton, will head back to the courts next week Monday, but this time for the trial involving 18 government ministers who claim Linton defamed them. The claimants involve Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit, Attorney General Levi Peter and all members of cabinet. They claim that Linton called them 'rapists' at a UWP youth rally at St. Joseph in May 2014. Linton allegedly said at that rally “There can be no honour in a government that harbours rapist ministers and upholds extortion of sexual services from young people seeking the facilitation of ministers, to get personal development assistance from the public purse". The claimants are seeking damages in the amount of EC$1 million for slander. Opposition Leader, Lennox Linton, was speaking at a UWP public meeting at Layou Thursday
