UWP Leader Lennox Linton is criticizing the DLP Government for using scholarship recipients’ names to promote its Citizenship By Investments (CBI) program. Linton says he is disturbed by Minister for Planning, Economic Development & Investment Dr. Collin McIntyre’s recent statements, on a local radio station, to that effect, while he was acting in the capacity of Prime Minister.
Recently Range Capital Partners gave scholarships to fifty Dominican students. Acting Prime Minister Dr. Collin McIntyre used the names of the recipients of these scholarships on local radio, to promote the citizenship by investment program, according to Linton.
The DLP Administration however, seems to be of the view that the UWP is trying to undermine the Citizenship by investment program, by claiming that there is no transparency or accountability.
