UWP Leader Lennox Linton is questioning an allocation of $250,000 to young Penville farmers group2/18/2016 UWP Leader Lennox Linton is questioning an allocation of $250,000 to young Penville farmers group. He says the way in which the monies were allocated to the young farmers group in Penville is discriminating to other young people who are interested in farming.
Last week, Prime Minister Skerrit presented $100,000 to the Agro plus young farmers group of Penville. This forms part of an overall commitment of $250,000 made to the group, by Mr Skerrit, who is the Parliamentary Representative of that constituency. Linton is of the view that the strategy used by Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit is deliberate and dangerous. He wants to see a proper policy developed for such allocations of resources.
