UWP wants Soufriere constituents to send a message ‘they are not for sale in the June 7 by-election’
UWP Leader, Lennox Linton, wants the people of the Soufriere Constituency to send a clear message to the Government that they are not for sale in the June 7 by-election.
With reports that monies are being spent by the ruling party throughout the constituency as the by-election draws nearer, Linton is advising constituents not to become dependent on handouts from the public purse, while the vital interests of their constituency is neglected.
He also urged constituents to throw their support behind UWP Candidate Hidges Adams.
Adams has been elected chairman of the Soufriere Village Council for a number of years. Linton says this is testament of a beautiful relationship between a community and somebody whom they know means well.
