Persons in areas prone to flooding, landslides and falling rocks are being asked to be vigilant and to exercise caution as a westward moving tropical wave affects the island at this time.
According to the Dominica Met Service, this westward moving wave is expected to maintain an increase in cloudiness with scattered showers and possible isolated thunderstorms across parts of the island chain during the next 24 hours. Meanwhile, slight to moderate sea conditions are expected during the next 24 hours with waves peaking near 5.0 feet.
