Rainy days ahead for Dominica as a tropical wave currently east of the Lesser Antilles is expected to move westward across the island chain, on Wednesday into Thursday.
According to Forecaster, Marshall Alexander, conditions appear conducive for moderate to heavy shower and thunderstorm activity to affect Dominica particularly from Wednesday afternoon into Thursday and Friday. Additionally, a wet pattern is forecasted to linger across the area into early next week.
Alexander further cautioned persons in areas prone to flooding, landslides and falling rocks to be vigilant and exercise caution, particularly from Wednesday afternoon into Friday as flash flooding is likely.
