WINAIR has announced its decision to commence flights into the Canefield airport. WINAIR will have three flights per week into the Canefield airport. According to a press release issued last week, regular flights will begin, following the airline’s temporary service to Canefield.
Dominica reportedly received a great amount of positive response from customers. It said that in contrast to Douglas Charles Airport, the Canefield airport is but 5 minutes away from the Capital Roseau and WINAIR and its customers having recognized the convenience for those travelling to Dominica’s capital.
The service to Canefield is combined with the scheduled daily ATR service to Douglas Charles airport by WINAIR. Last Wednesday, LIAT announced plans to commence flights from Canfield to Antigua on 22nd January 2016.
