DPSU President Steve Joseph has weighed in on the call by some citizens to lead them into mass protest, in efforts to correct the ills that have been facing Dominicans for some time, under the current Skerrit-led DLP administration. Joseph says there is not enough self-confidence and critical thinking by the population to oppose persons in positions of authority, whenever they do something wrong. Joseph says while there is enough evidence and misconduct committed by officials to spark protests, the DPSU Chairman cautions that citizens should not depend solely on the Union to lead protest action, rather they can ask for the support of the Union in protest action. He supports a National Movement sparked by a group of organized and civil citizens. DPSU President, Steve Joseph.
