And member of the electoral Commission Wayne James is proposing that prominent Architect Severin McKenzie be placed on a planning committee, to develop housing and infrastructure in some villages, to accommodate Dominicans who were displaced by Tropical Storm Erika.
Dominica was ravaged by Tropical Storm Erika on august 27, 2015. This resulted in the village of Petite Savanne being declared a disaster zone, along with nine other areas, forcing the evacuation of hundreds of Dominicans from those communities. Speaking on Q95’s ‘Talk on the Block’ show yesterday Tuesday, James posed a question to Mr McKenzie.
